BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND SPIRITUAL CARE

PRESENTATION

The bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and Spiritual Care aims to train highly trained professionals to work in different health and rehabilitation contexts, with a humanized and integrative view of care. The occupational therapist is a professional who contributes to the promotion of autonomy and quality of life of individuals and groups, acting directly in the prevention, rehabilitation and inclusion of people with disabilities, limitations or physical, mental and emotional disorders in light with Christianity.

Estimated duration of 48 months. Being:
Stage 1- General courses / components;
Stage 2- Specific courses / components and the preparation of the senior paper (dissertation or thesis) under direct guidance of an advisor;
Stage 3- Minor courses / components;
Stage 4- Practicum Education (internships);
The student must complete an additional workload in participating in academic events and lifelong education and extension courses to form the academic-scientific curriculum.
