VENI UNIVERSITY CEO HONORS “SEBRAE BUSINESS WOMEN AWARD” EVENT

The CEO of Veni Creator Christian University (VCCU), an American university, Dr. Acilina Candeia, participated in the Sebrae Business Women Award on Monday, October 21. VCCU offers Bachelor’s degrees in Religious Education, Master’s degrees, and Doctorate degrees, as well as advanced and extension courses in Theology.

The event took place in João Pessoa with the award ceremony, which aims to recognize companies that make a difference and have women in their leadership who believe in transformation through entrepreneurship.

Women were awarded in several categories, such as technology, innovation, beauty, commerce, construction, and rural products.

Acilina Candeia was a finalist for the Award for the first time and emphasizes the importance of being able to honor a renowned event that has expanded at state, regional, and national levels.

“We are honoring countless female entrepreneurs, trailblazing women who develop their entrepreneurial skills every day. And so, we are able to contemplate these women and add value and knowledge so that we can broaden our horizons as female entrepreneurs, not only in Brazil, but throughout the Americas, in Portugal, in India, that is, wherever there is Veni Creator Christian University”, she highlighted.

Dr. Acilina Candeia is the president of a university based in Orlando-FL (USA) that works in education with graduate degrees (master’s and doctorate), in addition to being the president of the Veni Brasil Institute, based in João Pessoa. Founder and CEO of Amac: an association that empowers women, trains and strengthens them to insert them into the job market, as well as providing legal and psychological support to women victims of domestic violence, child sexual abuse, and human trafficking, together with the Hope and Justice Foundation, an American foundation, and maintainer in Florida.

Before the awards ceremony, guests attended the lecture “Women in Leadership: how to overcome difficulties and tips for Thriving”, given by the manager of the Sebrae Delas program, from Sebrae Nacional, Renata Malheiros.
