On January 26, 2023, Veni Creator Christian University promoted the II International Colloquium on Social Sciences – Financial Crimes, with the theme “The New Law of Administrative Improbity”. The online event brought together specialists, academics, lawyers, and other professionals interested in debating the new perspectives and implications of the legislation on administrative improbity, a topic of great relevance in the current legal and political scenario.

Dr. Eloy Lemos Jr., a renowned specialist in administrative law and university professor, was the keynote speaker at the colloquium. In his presentation, he addressed the main aspects of the new Administrative Improbity Law (Law 14.230/2021), which brought significant changes to the definition and exemption of acts of improbity in the public sector.
