WOMAN FROM PARAIBA IS AMONG THE ENTREPRENEURS PARTICIPATING IN EXPOBRAZIL, IN ORLANDO-FL

On April 6 and 7, ExpoBrazil was held in Orlando, Florida, in the United States. Several Brazilians who own businesses in Orlando participated in the fair and displayed their products and/or services.

A great example for the event is Dr. Acilina Candeia, from Patos, Paraíba, who, together with the academic coordinator of her institution, Veni Creator Christian University, Dr. Marcela Tarciana, participated in the event exhibiting undergraduate and graduate courses. On the occasion, the Educator, master, psychopedagogue, doctor, and CEO of the Veni group, Dr. Candeia, released her book entitled ‘Learning Disorders’.

For the doctor, participating in the event for the first time represents a great opportunity for networking.

“We, at Veni Creator Christian University, are participating in this edition of ExpoBrazil and doing excellent networking and knowledge expansion. ExpoBrazil takes place every year and this is our first participation, which has been very rewarding because it is a highly interactive networking event with great knowledge and great partnerships. If you are following us, come and get to know ExpoBrazil and Veni Creator Christian University”, she celebrated.

The event had 170 stands, 140 exhibitors, and more than 3,000 people circulating throughout the space over the two days of the event.

A Veni Creator Christian University realizou, neste sábado, dia 25 de maio, o evento on-line “Open- Talks: saúde mental do trabalhador”

Veni Creator Christian University held this Saturday, May 25th, the online event called “Open-Talks: Workers’ Mental Health”

The event featured a lawyer, a physical education, and two psychologists as speakers, who discussed the importance of caring for the physical, mental, and occupational health of workers.

The lawyer, Dr. Mhardoqueu França, highlighted the importance of caring for workers so that they can perform their daily tasks effectively.

“This is a very good reflection because it goes beyond the law and to what extent companies are interested in implementing these policies aimed at the mental, physical, and occupational health of workers. Companies do not have this habit, firstly because it depends on the managers themselves to enforce these policies. Secondly, to what extent these policies are profitable for the company. We know today that the policies are very profitable for the company. A good manager who has this perspective is a manager who will be concerned about the mental health of their employees, and this is very appropriate because all of this impacts the worker’s performance”, he emphasized.

The Physical Education teacher, Gledson Pedro, spoke about the release of hormones in relation to physical education, as well as moments that the company can organize for the well-being of employees.

Psychologists Valéria Nicolau and Luana Lira led the discussion on mental health, using depression and anxiety as parameters in the impact on an individual’s work and effective treatment approaches, as well as the application of cognitive behavioral therapy to help individuals deal with persistent negative thoughts.
