The course of Pastoral Theology aims to present to the student the scenario that involves Theology and Psychology, regarding the art of helping others who are suffering.
Goals: – To welcome others in all instances that involve their existence, so that they can speak of their pains and sufferings, as well as their joys and achievements; Help face the psychological and emotional challenges that require treatment; – To support and guide, under the principles established in the Word of God; – To foster the development of a mature Christian spirituality, based on humanistic values, dignity and social responsibility; – To enable students to apply biblical principles in practical and professional contexts, always respecting the pains and sufferings of others.
Target audience: Christians, religious leaders, theology students, and those interested in spiritual growth and deepening their academic understanding of the Scriptures, who seek a solid ethical and humanistic formation.
Duration: 12 weeks, with weekly meetings of 2 hours.
