MASTER OF ARTS IN CLINICAL COUNSELING AND CHRISTIAN SPIRITUALITY

PRESENTATION

The Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and Spiritual Care aims to offer an academic program in quality social work, focusing on training skills to help vulnerable populations in the light of spiritual care, which can be used in different practical contexts.

Title awarded to the graduate:
Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and Christian Spirituality

Core areas:
CA 1: Counseling and Family Therapy
CA 2: Psychological Intervention at School
CA 3: Human and Vulnerable Persons’ Rights
CA 4: Christian Spiritual Counseling and Care

Estimated duration of 24 months. Being:

  • Stage 1 – courses / components;
  • Stage 2 – for the preparation of the senior paper (dissertation or thesis) under direct guidance of an advisor;

The examination board will take place after the above-mentioned steps have been completed. If the student does not complete the thesis, they must enter into a contractual addendum and continue paying the course fees;

The student must make at least 03 (three) academic publications during the study period, these must be published in magazines with relevance index.

The student must complete an additional workload in participating in academic events and lifelong education and extension courses to form the academic-scientific curriculum.

  2. Psychological Intervention in Educational Settings
    Address mental health challenges, learning barriers, and behavioral issues within school environments.
  3. Human Rights and Advocacy for Vulnerable Populations
    Promote equity, dignity, and social justice through policy analysis and community-driven interventions.
  4. Christian Spiritual Counseling and Care
    Integrate theological principles with therapeutic techniques to support holistic client well-being.
