&#8220;The New Law of Administrative Improbity&#8221;. The online event brought together specialists, academics, lawyers, and other professionals interested in debating the new perspectives and implications of the legislation on administrative improbity, a topic of great relevance in the current legal and political scenario.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lecture Director: Dr. Eloy Lemos Jr.<\/strong><br \/>Dr. Eloy Lemos Jr., a renowned specialist in administrative law and university professor, was the keynote speaker at the colloquium. In his presentation, he addressed the main aspects of the new Administrative Improbity Law (Law 14.230\/2021), which brought significant changes to the definition and exemption of acts of improbity in the public sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Among the points highlighted by Dr. Eloy Lemos Jr., the following were a part of his speech:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What has changed with the new law? The speaker explained the main changes brought about by the new legislation, which seeks to make the accountability of public agents more rigorous, but also established clearer clauses for the exclusion of acts of improbity.<\/p>\n<p>Implications for public servants and political agents: Dr. Eloy detailed how the new law affects the performance of public servants, addressing the changes in the types of conduct considering administrative improbity and the new forms of defense for the accused.<\/p>\n<p>The new perspective of justice in relation to administrative improbity: The speaker also discussed the implications of the new law for the fight against corruption, highlighting the challenges and opportunities to promote a more ethical and transparent public administration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Digital Certification for Participants<\/strong><br \/>As in the I Colloquium, all participants of the II International Colloquium on Social Sciences received digital certificates of participation, registering their attendance and engaging in learning about the new Administrative Improbity Law.
