VENI CREATOR CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY WITH ANNOUNCEMENT OF PARTNERSHIPS FOR 100% FREE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

[Women who are victims of violence and abuse will be included]

During an interview with Record News, the CEO of Veni Creator Christian University, Dr Acilina Candeia, announced a great benefit for women who are benefited by the Hope & Justice Foundation and the NGO Dor com Amor. The institutions are headquartered in Orlando, FL, USA.

The announced benefit is 100% free scholarships for women who are victims of sexual abuse, domestic violence and human trafficking, as well as mothers of autistic children, will have the right to participate in these training courses.

The CEO, Dr. Acilina Candeia, explained the reason for expanding the social responsibility of the educational institution founded five years ago.

“In these five years, we want to launch a new platform that provides the community in Florida, Brazil, Canada, India, New Zealand, London, and Portugal with a platform that expands horizons in scientific research and also in professional qualification, being a professional qualification that considers the value of citizens and for those citizens who want to implement their responsibility in the community where they are”, described the CEO.

In the United States, human trafficking affects around 100,000 people per year, according to data from the Department of Justice. Also, 01 (one) in every four (4) women is a victim of domestic violence in their lifetime. To remove these women from this cycle of violence, training programs emerge as a fundamental support tool for victims.

Anna Alves-Lazaro, the CEO of the Hope & Justice Foundation, explained that the difficulty for most women who are victims of violence is to leave “the abuser’s clutches to seek their freedom because they may not have financial independenc due to the lack of professional training. So, this initiative of Veni Creator Christian University in partnership with Hope & Justice of offering these courses free of charge is of great importance.”

The NGO Dor com Amor works with families of autistic children in Boca Raton and Miami. Débora Lousa, the president of the NGO, highlighted that the partnership signed with the American university is important, as many may come to contribute and make a difference.

Those interested in participating in the free scholarship program should contact two institutions, Hope & Justice Foundation and the NGO Dor com Amor.
